• At least 5 years' estate agency experience (some of which should be at managerial level) or a willingness to recruit a suitable senior manager.
• A highly customer-focused approach to business.
• Sufficient funds to invest properly.
• A clearly thought out and achievable business plan.
• A hunger and drive to be the best at what you do.
• Membership of a professional body (NAEA, RICS or ARLA).
